Central Ohio Track – Distance Coaching
1:1 and small group middle / long distance Track coaching
Our proven off-season middle and long distance Track training programs are ideal for athletes of any skill level who wants structured, science-backed training to get ready for their indoor / outdoor Track season.
Small groups for individual attention with a team-culture approach.
Train on a real track
Sessions are held on a real track, planned and structured into a progressive training program. Training on a real track helps with adapting to ground forces, reducing injury risk, and learning proper pace management.
Athletes who do not train over Winter spend half their season catching up to those who do.
Depending on training cycle, athletes will work on:
- •Sustained speed and endurance
- •Pacing
- •Breathing techniques
- •Running form
- •Sports nutrition
- •Mental preparation
What does small group training look like?
Groups are available for middle school and high school athletes with a 4:1–5:1 athlete-to-coach ratio. Sessions are approximately one hour and include:
- •Warmup
- •Form and technique drills
- •Main workout (customized per athlete)
- •Cool-down
We do not coach field events, jumps, throws, or hurdle technique.
