Central Ohio Track – Sprint Coaching

1:1 Private and Group Sprint/Speed Coaching

We provide 1:1 and small group coaching programs for sprinters preparing for their upcoming track season. Our group sizes are small so we can spend time assisting each athlete, while still building a team-culture approach to training.

Our off-season track/speed prep program is ideal for athletes of any experience level who wants proven, science-based structured training to build power, acceleration and top end speed.

Real results on a real track

At RFP, workouts aren't just about conditioning in a big box gym. Each session is held on a real track, planned, structured and tied into a larger training program so athletes improve week over week with a goal to be season-ready.

Athletes who do not train over the Winter spend half their season or more catching up to those who do.

Each session is led by experienced coaches who have coached middle school, high school, and collegiate athletes. Depending on training cycle, athletes will work on:

  • Standing/block starts
  • Acceleration
  • Max speed
  • Breathing techniques
  • Reaction drills
  • Explosiveness/power development
  • Plyometrics
  • Race strategy
  • Running form
  • Sports nutrition
  • Mental preparation

We do not currently coach hurdles.

What does small group training look like?

Groups are available for middle school and high school athletes with a 4:1–5:1 athlete-to-coach ratio. Sessions are approximately one hour and include:

  • Warmup
  • Form and technique drills
  • Main workout (customized per athlete)
  • Cool-down

We do not coach field events, jumps, throws, or hurdle technique.
