Sports Performance Coach

(in-person, 1099 contractor, part-time)

Our growing sports performance training business is searching for a dynamic and enthusiastic part-time Coach/Trainer to join our team! In this role, you’ll play a vital role in developing young athletes (youth through college) by designing and implementing programs focused on Speed, Agility, and Quickness (SAQ) training, plyometrics, mobility, strength, and overall athletic development.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess athletes’ strengths, weaknesses, and movement patterns.
  • Design and implement individualized training programs focused on improving speed, agility, quickness, power, strength, mobility, and injury prevention.
  • Lead group training sessions, providing in-person coaching, instruction, and motivation in a fun and engaging environment.
  • Track athlete progress, adjust training plans as needed, and offer ongoing feedback and support.
  • Educate athletes on proper technique, safety protocols, and the importance of a positive training mindset.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest sports performance training methods, drills, and injury prevention strategies.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with athletes, parents, and coaches.

Qualifications:

  • CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience coaching youth or young adult athletes in a performance training setting.
  • Strong understanding of exercise science, movement mechanics, and functional training principles.
  • Proven ability to design and implement effective SAQ, plyometric, strength, and mobility training programs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills to connect with athletes of various ages and personalities.
  • Ability to create a positive and supportive training environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Passion for sports performance training and a desire to help young athletes excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate evening and weekend training sessions.
  • We do not have a facility. You must be willing to work in a wide variety of weather conditions (light rain, cold/warm temperatures).

PT Running Coach

Do you love running and have a passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals?

I am seeking a motivated and enthusiastic part-time running coach to join our team! In this role, you will create personalized training plans, coach adult runners of all levels, and inspire them to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct client consultations to assess fitness level, goals, and running experience.
  • Design personalized training plans tailored to individual needs and goals (e.g., building endurance, increasing speed, training for a race).
  • Provide in-person coaching, instruction, and motivation.
  • Monitor client progress, adjust training plans as needed, and offer ongoing support.
  • Motivate and encourage clients to achieve their running goals in a safe and effective manner.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest running techniques, training methods, and injury prevention strategies.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients.
  • Help attract and grow Run For Performance and your client bookings.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Running Coach or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in creating and implementing personalized training plans.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
  • Strong understanding of running form, technique, and injury prevention.
  • Passion for running and a desire to help others succeed.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate evening. morning and/or weekend sessions. (Based on your availability)
