Pricing & Payment Questions

Why are you so expensive — or so cheap — compared to others?

We are not a general fitness club. With over 50 years of combined coaching experience, for every hour spent with an athlete, another 30 to 60 minutes goes into monitoring progress and programming. There are no generic plans here. We are a legitimate business with real overhead, but we keep costs reasonable by not maintaining a high-rent facility.

Why don't you offer a drop-in or unlimited-session model?

A drop-in model is great for scheduling flexibility, but it turns coaching into a gym or fitness-facility model, and our programs are much more than "fit in a workout." Instead, we take the time to learn each athlete and periodize their training around their season, sport, outside activities, school, and week-to-week progress. This means making frequent adjustments based on how each athlete is progressing and their feedback, not running random, haphazard workouts. We also spend time between sessions planning what comes next. If athletes just showed up whenever, their training would be another trip to the gym instead of something programmed and planned for them. That said, we know things come up, so we do our best to work around conflicts when they do.

Do you offer sales, specials, or discounts?

We offer discounts for seasonal or prepaid packages (3, 4, 6, or 12 months). We do not offer coupons, Groupons, or free trials.

Are programs billed monthly or as a fixed package?

It depends on the format, and this is the most common point of confusion. 1:1 coaching is billed monthly, and we offer a month-to-month option. Small-group programs are not monthly at all — each group session is a single fixed price paid in advance to confirm your spot. For Track, that means Group A and Group B are $199 each, or $375 for both. Most years, due to the number of returning athletes and the sheer number of Track and Cross Country athletes we coach, we sell out our Summer and Winter group programs well in advance. If you prefer to commit to 1:1 coaching for a season or longer, we also offer discounts on prepaid packages (3, 4, 6, or 12 months).

Do you require a contract?

No contracts. We do require a liability waiver and a media permission form. The media permission form allows us to photograph or video your athlete for training analysis, so we can show you or your athlete proper and improper technique. We may also (but rarely do) use some photos for website updates or highlights. You can opt out of media permission.
